In 2021, AWS Training and Certification was operating as an AWS sub-brand with its own guidelines and strategy loosely tied to the parent brand. 

Over the three years I worked on the brand, I created brand guidance, built story telling strategy, and created countless working templates to develop cohesion with the AWS core brand while maintaining an authentic customer-facing voice focused on career growth and skill acquisition.

Badging system design

As one of the most front facing design elements of the brand, I updated and maintained the AWS Certified badges and developed brand-level guidance for all skill validation badges hosted on the Training and Certification Credly Account. Working with over 10 product teams, I created a cohesive library and rule-set for the visual distinction of all 190+ official AWS Badges.

Event support

In addition to marketing campaigns and brand guidelines, I also developed activations and spatial strategy for brand presence at the largest AWS event of the year. Working with vendors, product managers, and event staff, I led the design and created print-ready graphics that both aligned with the overall event strategy and individual brand goals.
